The Sixth Judicial District Nominating Commission announced on April 26, 2023 it has nominated Elizabeth Dupuich and Michael Harris as the two finalists to be certified to Hon. Susan Christensen, Chief Justice of the Iowa Supreme Court, and Governor Reynolds to fill the vacancy for District Court Judge due to the retirement of Judge Paul D. Miller.. Governor Reynolds will have 30 days make her selection. Dupuich is an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa.
Harris is an Assistant Linn County Attorney.
