Hello 6th Judicial District lawyers! Join your Iowa State Bar Association D6 delegates Cori, Lisa and Stephanie, for the Linn County Wellness Walk Wednesday program, kicking off Wednesday, July 31!
Each Wednesday from July 31-Aug. 28, we will be meeting at 7 a.m. to get our wellness and fellowship on with a 5K (3.2 mile) walk at a beautiful Linn County trail.
We invite all D6 lawyers (and your dogs or family members!) to join us. (We realize this is quite a drive for non-Linn Co. lawyers. If the program goes well, maybe we’ll take it on the road to other counties!)
We will provide bananas and other snacks.
Plus, each week you walk, you can take home a piece of ISBA swag as a reward for your efforts (samples in photo below)! And if you participate in at least two walks, you go into a drawing for an ISBA backpack or t-shirt (5 winners to be drawn). Three walks gets you in a drawing for an ISBA polo shirt (5 winners to be drawn). Four walks gets you into a drawing for a free ISBA CLE voucher! (details TBD) And all five walks? We’re not sure yet but at minimum you get bragging rights!
Below is the WWW schedule (with links to route map and where to park)--note each walk can be reduced to less than a 5K, e.g. one loop instead of two or a midway loop to head back to start.
